Instant locs are fully formed dreadlocks created in a single session using a crochet hook to knot and compact your natural hair from root to tip, skipping the months-long budding phase of starter locs. Suitable for most textures (typically 3–6+ inches of hair), they deliver a mature look immediately with customizable sizing and parting (square, bricklay). Sessions take 4–10 hours depending on length, density, and size; tenderness is normal for a day or two. Maintenance mirrors traditional locs: retighten/palm-roll every 4–8 weeks, keep products light, minimize buildup, and protect with satin/silk at night. Pros include instant results, minimal unraveling, and swimming-friendly durability; cons include a longer initial appointment and higher upfront cost. It would be ideal for your natural hair to be minimum 6 inches to get a desired look. Depending on how long the appointment you may need to come back for a retwist.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy: We understand plans change. Please cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before your appointment to avoid fees. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice incur a 100% scheduled service; no-shows or same-day cancellations are charged 100%. A nonrefundable deposit may be required to secure bookings and will be applied to your service; if you late-cancel or no-show, the deposit is forfeited. Arrivals more than 5 minutes late may need to be rescheduled and will be treated as a late cancellation. To cancel or reschedule, contact us via phone, text, or online booking during business hours. We allow one courtesy waiver per client per year for emergencies at our discretion. If we must cancel, deposits are fully refunded or transferred to a new date. Repeated violations may require prepayment or refusal of future bookings.
