Service Description
A short starter locs service begins with a consultation and scalp analysis, followed by a clarifying shampoo and precise sectioning with your choice of parting (square, bricklay) in micro to medium sizes. Locs are started using comb coils (most common), two-strand twists, or interlocking for tighter textures or active lifestyles, then set and dried with a light scalp oil finish. The appointment typically takes 2–4 hours depending on hair density and size selection. Aftercare includes sleeping with satin/silk, minimizing water and heavy products for 2–3 weeks, and scheduling the first retwist at 4–6 weeks; expect budding within 1–3 months and full maturation over 8–18+ months based on texture and size. Add-ons like scalp detox, hydrating steam, edge grooming, or a simple style can be included, and pricing is tiered by length, density, and desired loc size, finalized after consultation.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy: We understand plans change. Please cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before your appointment to avoid fees. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice incur a fee of 50% of the scheduled service; no-shows or same-day cancellations are charged 100%. A nonrefundable deposit may be required to secure bookings and will be applied to your service; if you late-cancel or no-show, the deposit is forfeited. Arrivals more than 5 minutes late may need to be rescheduled and will be treated as a late cancellation. To cancel or reschedule, contact us via phone, text, or online booking during business hours. We allow one courtesy waiver per client per year for emergencies at our discretion. If we must cancel, deposits are fully refunded or transferred to a new date. Repeated violations may require prepayment or refusal of future bookings.
